Our Story

My family began introducing Angus genetics into their herd in the early 1950‘s and eventually progressed to a purebred operation. I spent much of my early days on the farm in North Louisiana where I developed my love of Angus cattle.
Kim and I started Greeneline Angus in 1993 with the purchase of four cows from one of the most successful “real world” Angus operations in the south, Black Bull Cattle Company. Today, the cow herd has grown to over 150 head. With the help of Matt, all of our all day to day work, data collection, and management decisions are performed by us; we are truly a family operation. In fact, our sons are the fourth generation of cattle breeders in the Greene Family.
After years of AI, ET, and a disciplined selection process, we continue to breed a line of short haired, easy fleshing, top performing bulls and heifers that thrive in our hot, humid weather conditions and on our foraged based operation.
We believe in the positive traits that Angus cattle impart to offspring such as calving ease, mothering ability, temperament, and unquestioned superior end product. Our cattle are bred with efficiency and balanced traits in mind to produce a dependable product.
